our story

Memories and dreams danced above the rocky beaches and the vineyards of Nicomedia of Asia Minor. They traveled with the refugees and grew roots at the foot of Pangaion hills, in the area where myths, truths, and traditions whisper that the vine was cultivated since antiquity and Dionysus was worshiped.
Charalamboglou family brought Fulacık (of Nicomedia) in touch with the dew of Pangaion mountain, the waters of Aggitis river, the sun of Vitastas and revived the vineyards with much love and care.

Οινοποιείο Χαραλαμπόγλου

George Haralamboglou unleashed the thread of the grandparents' stories on wine and tsipouro and waved the wine road to the small vineyard, only 2 acres, of his father Nikolas. With effort, patience and perseverance since 1977, the vineyard spread to 150 acres of organic vineyard cultivation on the slopes of Pangaio in Krinida Serres, Greece in the municipality of Amphipolis. In 1999 he founded the wine bottling company and in 2003 the construction of a visiting winery started on the vineyard grounds with state-of-the-art technology and a reception space for visitors.

The visitor has the opportunity to explore and get to know the whole process of organic cultivation of local and Greek varieties Koniaros, Assyrtiko, Mallagousia, Moschato, Rhoditis and the classic varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
